1. Who we are

TeamPickr (“we”, “our”, “us”) operates the TeamPickr mobile application (the “App”).

2. What information we collect

2.1 Account information

• Name
• Email address
• Password credentials (securely hashed)

2.2 Group & player information

• Group names
• Player names
• Player ratings
• Fixtures and generated teams
• Availability and attendance records

2.3 Usage information

Depending on your choices (see section 2.4), we may collect:

• Device type
• Operating system
• App version
• Error logs and diagnostics
• Feature usage and screen interaction events
• Session duration and navigation flows
• Anonymous or pseudonymous device identifiers used for analytics

Analytics-related data (including feature usage, interaction events, session and navigation analytics, and identifiers used for analytics) is collected only after you give consent in the App, as described in section 2.4. If you decline analytics, we do not record that analytics data. If error logs or diagnostics are collected through the same analytics or measurement features, that collection only happens after you consent in the App.

2.4 Analytics consent

We ask for your consent inside the App before we enable analytics collection. That includes measurement and analytics through Google Firebase and Google Analytics (and related Google measurement features we have enabled), as described in section 5.

You can accept or decline. No analytics data is recorded until you accept. If you decline, we do not enable analytics for your use of the App and do not collect the analytics-related information described in this policy for that purpose.

You can turn analytics on or off at any time in the Settings section of the App. If you turn analytics off, we stop recording analytics data from that point forward in line with your choice.

3. How we use your information

• Create and manage accounts
• Generate balanced teams
• Send service-related communications
• Improve team balancing, reliability, and product experience using analytics insights where you have consented to analytics in the App (see section 2.4)
• Maintain security and prevent misuse

We do not sell personal data to advertisers or data brokers.

4. Legal basis

• Consent - where we rely on your in-app choice for optional analytics (see section 2.4)
• Legitimate interests - to improve, secure, support, monitor, and back up the App (where not based on consent)
• Contract - where processing is necessary to provide the App’s core features you sign up for

5. Data sharing & service providers

• Google Firebase (Google LLC) – Firebase services we use to build and run the App (for example authentication, storage, or other features we configure). Where Firebase is used for analytics or measurement, that processing follows section 2.4.
• Google Analytics (Google LLC) – usage and product analytics, including where data is collected through Google Analytics, Google Analytics for Firebase, or linked Firebase measurement features, only where you have consented to analytics in the App (see section 2.4)

Analytics data is used in aggregated or pseudonymous form where possible and is never sold. Firebase and Google Analytics are not used to record analytics data unless and until you accept analytics in the App. Google’s processing is governed by Google’s terms and privacy policy (for example Google Privacy Policy).

6. Data retention & backups

Deleted data may remain in secure encrypted backups for a limited retention period before permanent deletion.

You may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, and portability by contacting us.
