1. About us

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the TeamPickr mobile application (the “App”).

By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

TeamPickr (“we”, “us”, “our”) provides a mobile app that allows users to create groups, manage players, create games, and generate teams.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the App.

If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or guardian.

3. User accounts

To use certain features, you must create an account.

You agree to:

• Provide accurate information
• Keep your login credentials secure
• Not share your account with others
• Notify us if you believe your account has been compromised

You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account.

4. Organiser responsibilities

Organisers who create groups and add players are responsible for:

• Ensuring they have a lawful basis or appropriate permission to add and manage player information
• Managing player data responsibly
• Using the App in a lawful and respectful way

TeamPickr does not verify player consent - this responsibility rests with the organiser.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the App for unlawful purposes
• Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the system
• Upload malicious software
• Impersonate another person
• Use the App to harass or abuse others

We may suspend, terminate, or remove accounts, groups, or content that violate these Terms.

6. User content

You retain ownership of the content you create within the App, including group names, player information, fixtures, ratings, and notes.

By using TeamPickr, you grant us a limited licence to store, process, back up, analyse, and display this content solely for operating, securing, improving, and measuring the performance of the service.

7. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and software within the App belong to TeamPickr (unless otherwise stated).

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, or distribute any part of the App without written permission.

9. Team generation disclaimer

TeamPickr generates teams using an automated balancing system based on player ratings.

We do not guarantee:

• Perfect fairness
• Competitive balance
• Injury prevention
• Match outcomes

Team selection, player ratings, rankings, and final selection decisions remain the responsibility of organisers.

TeamPickr is not responsible for organiser-created ratings, rankings, or selection disputes.

(It's five-a-side, not the Champions League.)

10. Data & privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Account deletion

You may delete your account within the App.

Deleted account data may remain in secure backups for a limited retention period before permanent deletion.

12. Service availability

The App is provided on an “as available” and “as is” basis without warranties of any kind.

Some parts of the service rely on third-party providers, including analytics and hosting services, and we are not responsible for outages caused by those providers.

13. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TeamPickr is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss
• Loss of data
• Loss of profits
• Personal injury arising from participation in sports activities
• Disputes between players or organisers

14. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time and notify users within the App where appropriate.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
